Registration Is Underway For Art Camp

Now is the time to register for the Water Valley Arts Council’s second annual Summer Art Camp for Kids, a week-long camp to be held in Water Valley July 11 – 15. Local professional artists and performers will help your child create exciting projects with clay, acrylic paint, and textiles.

Plus they’ll present an introduction to music and the performing arts. Everyone will receive a Summer Art Camp tee-shirt.

The morning session (9 to noon) is for children ages 5-8.  The afternoon session (1 – 4 p.m. ) is for children 9-12. Enrollment is limited to 25 children for each session. The cost for the camp is $50 (which includes all materials and snacks); 25 full scholarships are available.

Enrollment is first-come first-serve, so pick up a registration form at the Water Valley Main Street Office (207 N. Main Street), the B.T.C,  or Turnages Drug Store. For more information call 473-0972 (Bill) or 473-9851 (Ramona).
