Julia “Judy” Brown Haire
WATER VALLEY—Julia “Judy” Brown Haire, age 85 died Thursday, September 27, 2012, in Yalobusha County Nursing Home at Water Valley.
Born October 25, 1926, in Panola County, she was a daughter of the late Emmet C. and Letha Mixon Brown. Judy was a homemaker, she enjoyed listening to music, she loved to sing, and she was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in Seven Oaks Funeral Home at Water Valley. A graveside service will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, in the Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery in Yalobusha County, with Bro. Freddie Mooreman officiating.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Mango of Seattle, Washington and Nancy Miller (Bryce) of Southaven; three sisters, Wilma Russum of Collierville, Tenn, Juanita Zorzoli and Rebecca Moore, both of Water Valley; two brothers, Calvin Brown of Byhalia and Brooks Brown of Memphis; her grandchildren, Lisa, Jason, Rachael, Julie, Tina, Shirley, Amy, Michael Lee, Skyzic, Lighten, Missy, Chris, and Angela; and her great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Haire, two sons, Gary Haire and Michael Haire, three brothers, Chesterfield Brown, Jessie Lee Brown, and Robert Brown.
