William Keith Crowell, Sr.

OAKLAND—William Keith Crowell, Sr. passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, in Golden Living Nursing Home at Batesville.
  A graveside service was held Monday, March 17, in Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Jerry King officiating. Dickins Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
  Mr. Crowell was born April 22, 1930, in Oakland, and was a son of the late Cletus Crowell and Eunice McCullar Crowell. He was a farmer and store owner. Mr. Crowell was a member of Oakland Methodist Church.
  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Crowell, and a son, William Keith Crowell.
  Survivors include a daughter, Linda Hopper of Oakland; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Judith “Judy” Eileen McCollough Davis

WATER VALLEY—Judith “Judy” Eileen McCollough Davis, age 75, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Baptist Memorial Hospital—North Mississippi at Oxford.
  Born July 23, 1938, in Westmoreland County, Penn., Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late Augustus Henlen and Helena Thompson McCollough. Judy was a Lutheran and served two years in the United States Army. After 27 years of service, she retired from BorgWarner in Water Valley. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved fishing, sewing, traveling, and telling stories about family history.
  Visitation was held Tuesday, March 25, from 10 a.m. until noon in Seven Oaks Funeral Home at Water Valley. The funeral service was held following visitation at twelve o’clock in the Henry Chapel of the funeral home with Bro. David Freeman officiating. Burial was in the Camp Ground Cemetery in Lafayette County with Matthew Lucas, Billy Ray Bratcher, Jr., John Red, Justin Ramsey, Jimmy Dale Davis, and Jason Russell as pallbearers.
  Survivors include her husband, Ernest Davis of Water Valley; three daughters, Margaret (Billy) Bratcher of Batesville, Dale Davis of Water Valley, and Deana (Rick) Jenkins of Hernando; three sisters, Kathi (Bill) Miller of Suffolk, Virginia, Donna (Sidney) Bradley of New Kensington, Penn., and Trudy (Rob) Raub of Mt. Home, Idaho; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ernest Davis, Jr.; her sister, Margaret McCollough; and three brothers, Richard McCollough, William McCollough, and Donald McCollough.
