Maurice White

WATER VALLEY—Maurice White of Water Valley, formerly of Holy Springs, age 59, died Sunday, May 25, 2014, in Baptist Memorial Hospital—North Mississippi at Oxford.
  A memorial service was held at one o’clock in the afternoon Saturday, May 31, in J. F. Brittenum & Son Funeral Home at Holly Springs. Bro. Roosevelt Gooch officiated.
  Survivors include his wife, Sadie Holmes White of Water Valley; five step-children, Richard Tatum and Dennis Tatum, both of Water Valley, Jimmy Tatum of Lexington, Ervin Tatum of Memphis, and Beverly Walker of Water Valley; his father, Leroy White, Sr. of New York; four sisters, Kathryn Reed of Milwaukee, Wis., Constance Anderson of Chicago, Ill., Sharon White and Samantha White, both of Holly Springs; four brothers, Leroy White, Jr., Robert White, and Stanley White, all of Holly Springs, and Gary White of Dallas, Texas.
