Every Kid’s Dream Job

Tyler Womble, 10, got to tear down a derelict house on Central Street Monday and enjoyed every moment. Tyler was working with his dad, Michael, and granddad, Harry, in getting rid of this eyesore for James Howell, who hired them to get ‘er done before the Carnival. Howell plans to put a business on the lot.
Tyler told the Herald he had been operating machines since he was 3-years-old. When asked if he was better at it that his dad and granddad, he answered, “No,” with a big smile.
