The 76 points scored by both teams last year are the most ever in the series. The Pirates last win came in 2009 at Water Valley with 34-25 victory. The Railroad Trophy has been in the Blue Devils possession since 2010. Coffeeville won the trophy in 1999 & 2009. The county’s rival last win over the Devils in Coffeeville came in 1987 by a score of 20-7. WV sports a 9-1 record against Class 1A teams.
