Coffeeville Christmas Parade Set For Dec. 13

The Coffeeville Women’s League is seeking entrants for the annual Christmas Parade beginning at 11 a.m. in downtown Coffeeville.
The group is urging all businesses, organizations and churches to participate.
The league is changing things up this year and needs your help to make it a good change.
The morning of the parade the league will be hosting breakfast with Santa at the First Baptist Church from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. The cost will be $5 at the door.
Last year’s parade was a huge success because of all the hard work and dedication put into all the entries. We hope this year’s parade will be even better, said sponsors.
The types of entries being sought include floats (decorated trailer of any size), antique cars, walking units (band, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, church carolers, etc.), emergency vehicles (police, fire trucks), motorcycles and horses.
If you are interested in participating, contact Marie Beshears at 458-8938, Kerrie Staten at 417-9957 or Charlotte Weeks at 816-7937.
