WATER VALLEY – The Water Valley Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a ribbon cutting for Blu-Buck Mercantile on Thursday, February 19, at 2 p.m.
The event is also an open house and owner Kagan Coughlin plans to have tours in portions of the interior of the buildings. Coughlin worked for more than a year on the renovation that includes eight apartments and five retail storefronts encompassing almost an entire city block on Main Street.
“I think it will be a great day to celebrate the hard work he has invested in this project,” Water Valley Chamber of Commerce Tyler Hill reported. “He has been there, hammer in hand, working day after day and I know he can take a little extra pride in that,” Hill added.
Coughlin also extends an invitation to the public to attend the ribbon cutting and open house.
“If you want to see the inside, this will be a good time,” Coughlin said.
