Mississippi Blood Services Plans Blood Drive At High School

WATER VALLEY  — Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) will be holding a blood drive at Water Valley High School on Friday, March 31, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. The MBS Donor Coach will be at the school. Seniors who donate twice during the school year will receive a red cord to wear at graduation.

If the goal of 25 units is reached, donors will get to celebrate with a pizza party. Donors will receive an MBS T-shirt. Donors can now check their total cholesterol on their MBSConnect Account. All donors will be registered for a chance to win a free spring cleaning (valued at $250).

Donating blood is safe, simple and it saves lives. Donors must be at least 16 years old (16, 17-year olds must have signed parental consent; visit the MBS website for a copy of the form), weigh at least 110 pounds and have a valid ID.
