Work Underway To Revive C’ville Celebration Day

The Coffeeville Day Celebration will be held on Saturday October 7. The committee met last week to revive the Coffeeville Day Celebration. The activities are scheduled from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.


The day will be filled with arts, crafts, and food booths. Local bands and choirs will fill the air with great music. Other activities will include a car and motorcycle show.

Committee members will be asking local merchants to support this endeavor.

We have several donation levels which are listed below:

• Platinum – $1,000-plus

• Gold – $ 500

• Silver –$250

• Bronze – $100

• Supporters – $25


Donors’ ads will be placed in the Coffeeville Courier. Any amount of donations will be greatly appreciated. 

A checking account under the name Coffeeville Day Celebration has been set up at Renasant Bank.

To rent a food booth the cost will be as follows:

• Regular Spot  – $50

• Spot with electricity – $75

To rent an arts and craft booth the cost will be as follows:


• Card table spot – $25

• 10 X 10 spot – $50

• Spot with electricity – $75

All vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, tents etc. T-shirts will go on sale prior to the event and on the day of the event. (More information will be provided at a later date.)

The next committee meeting will be held on Thursday August 31, at 7:30 pm at the Coffeeville City Hall. The meeting is open to the public. Other volunteers are needed to make this event successful.
