Lake Cleanup Is Feb. 24

Over 400 man-made fish shelters were constructed in Enid Lake during the annual Habitat Day on Feb. 3. With almost 200 people pitching in, the shelters were strategically placed in areas around Robinson Crossing, Bynum and Rowsey Creek. Each year the shelters are placed on the lake bottom before spring rain elevates the lake level and help provide habitat for bait fish, which are needed to sustain a healthy population of game fish. – Photo by David Dunn
