Patricia Ann Flemmons


BATESVILLE—Patricia Ann Anderson Flemmons passed away August 30, 2018, in Baptist Memorial Hospital —North Mississippi at Oxford.


Born November 2, 1947, in Sunflower County, she attended Lambert High School and lived in Panola County for many years.


She leaves three daughters, Vicky Goodnight Tindall (Dennis) of Water Valley, Angie Goodnight Carroll (Darron) of Memphis; and Tracy Goodnight (John Parsons) of Searcy, Ark.; one son, Christopher Flemmons (Christi) of Water Valley; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jane Williams (Dany) of Coldwater.


Pat was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Ray, her step-father, Paul Ray, and two brothers, Earl Anderson, Jr. and Jerry Anderson.


Raymond Vance


WATER VALLEY—Raymond Vance, age 64, of Water Valley, died Sunday, August 26, 2018, in University Hospital at Jackson.


Born January 25, 1954, in Sunflower County, he was a son of the late Basil Buford and Daisy Grantham Vance. He worked as a diesel mechanic and enjoyed fishing and family.


Visitation was held Wednesday, August 29, in the Appleton Room of Seven Oaks Funeral Home, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with services following in the Henry Chapel of the funeral home. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery at Winona.


Raymond is survived by two daughters, Ashley Vance of Quitman and Jessica Ridout (Adam) of Philadelphia; two sons, Chris Vance of Neshoba County and Tim Vance of Greenville; five sisters, Annie Bramlette of Water Valley, Myrtis Hollings (Leon) of Randolph, Virginia Scott (James) of Randolph, Barbara Schwinn of Water Valley, and Mary Francis Ramos of Bruce; and one brother, James Buford Vance of Greenville.


In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceding in death by his brothers, Billy Ray Vance and Jimmy Lee Vance.
