Lindsey Named WVHS Star Student

Lillian Lindsey is the Water Valley High School Star Student.

The Class of 2020 STAR Student for Water Valley High School is Lillian Lindsey. In order to receive this honor, the student must have an ACT score of 25 or higher and an overall cumulative GPA of 93. Lillian scored a 30 on the ACT.

Lillian is the daughter of Steve and Keli Lindsey and will enter the University of Mississippi in the fall. She has been accepted into the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and will major in Integrated Marketing Communications.

The STAR Student is asked to name a STAR Teacher. The teacher should be one of the student’s former elementary or secondary classroom teachers (current, former or retired). The teacher selected, in the STAR Student’s opinion, had the greatest contribution to their academic achievement. Lillian chose Angie Hodge, who was her Accelerated Algebra 2 teacher, as her STAR Teacher.
