Bingo Resumes Friday At The VFW

WATER VALLEY – Weekly bingo play at VFW Post 4100 will resume Friday night, May 29, with post officials adhering to health regulations from the Mississippi State Gaming Commissioners to protect participants. Post 4100 Quartermaster Mickell Dunn reported the regulations include social distancing inside the building as well as wearing masks. He also said the building will be cleaned after each bingo night.

 The doors open at 6 p.m. and play starts at 7 and the kitchen will also be open to serve food. Hand sanitizer will also be provided. Dunn said officials at the post have fielded numerous inquiries about resuming activities.

“Our answering machine has been full,” he said, adding that the Saturday night dance will likely resume in a few weeks.
