It’s the most wonderful time of the year and now, more than ever, is the time to embrace the cheerful holiday spirit.
This season, the Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce hopes all businesses and residents will showcase their decorating skills and “Deck the Valley.” So break out the lights, garland, inflatable snowmen, Santa, eight tiny reindeer and much more to participate in this festive contest.
The more lights and decorations the better. Only outdoor lighting/decorating, and window displays will be considered for the contest so decorations must be visible from outside.
In the residential and business categories, prizes will be awarded to first, second and third-place winners. The first-place winner will receive $100; the second-place winner will receive $75, and the third-place winner will receive $50.
Entries must be submitted by email with Name, Physical Address, and Phone Number to: wvchamer@bellsouth.net by December 12, 2020. Out-of-town judges will determine the winners which will be announced on December 15. There is no entry fee.
For additional information contact Zandra Walker at the Chamber of Commerce at (662) 473-1122.
