School Releases Covid Guidance
WATER VALLEY – The Water Valley School District is recommending that all students, faculty and staff members wear a mask indoors to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
The guidance by the district was released Tuesday as school officials continue to monitor CDC and Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) recommendations during the rise of Covid-19 cases in Mississippi.
“At this time the district will not mandate that masks to be worn on campus or during activities. Water Valley School District will maintain daily procedures that help reduce the spread of the virus. Water Valley School District will continue to monitor the progression of the virus, and updated recommendations from the CDC and MSDH and reserves the right to require masks if deemed necessary,” according to the statement from the district.
