Yalobusha Students Earn Degrees At NWCC
SENATOBIA – Northwest Mississippi Community College officials announced 356 graduates were awarded degrees and certificates for the fall 2022 semester. Degrees were officially conferred by Dr. Michael Heindl, Northwest president, on Dec. 9 during the college’s 112th Commencement.
Yalobusha County graduates who received the Associate of Applied Science are Katie Fowler, Brianna Judson and Annie Vanlandingham, all of Water Valley.
Yalobusha graduates who received the Associate of Arts are Taylor Barton of Oakland; and Alaina Cardenas (Cum Laude), Amelia Parker (Cum Laude), Sadie Platz (Cum Laude) and Sydney Snider (Cum Laude), all of Water Valley.
Yalobusha graduates who received Career Certificates are Jasmine Chandler, Caitlin Gilley and Dorian Holmes Pomerlee, Aria Smith Lillie-Katherine Mooney ( Cum Laude), all of Water Valley; Shatriyas Jennings of Coffeeville; and Brittany Johnson and Emily McBride of Oakland.
