WATER VALLEY – This year’s Blackmur Library Program is fast approaching. The theme is “All Together Now” and will focus on friendship, co-operation and community. Each session will include activities and crafts focused on a different subject each week, including: Friendship, Teamwork, Be Kind To Yourself and Community.

The program is for children in first through sixth grades and will begin Tuesday, June 20 and runs through Tuesday, July 18 with sessions on June 20 and 27 and July 11 and 18 from 9:30 – 11 a.m. All attendees will need to be pre-registered by a parent or legal guardian. This is to ensure we have adequate materials for all attending. Parents can leave their children for the program, but must bring them to be checked in and pick them up promptly at the end of the program.

For younger children, starting Wednesday, June 21, at 9 a.m. we will have a weekly story time. Each week will feature different stories, sing-a-longs and take-home activities. Each program will last about 20 minutes. No pre-registration is necessary but parents must stay with their children during the program.

For more info on upcoming programs, contact the library at (662) 473-2444 or at blackmurlibrary To register, come by the library Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or you can find a printable registration form on the library’s Facebook page and website.
