Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues and work together to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, save mothers and children, support education, grow local economies and protect the environment.
The Rotary Club of Water Valley provides service to others, promotes integrity, and advances world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Some of the club’s local projects include providing dictionaries to fourth grade elementary students in Yalobusha County, sponsoring a Magnolia Youth League T-ball team, Enid Lake Volunteers donor, obtained the initial grant for the downtown Pocket Park, Gift of Life Mid-South donor, Second Chance Animal Alliance donor and the Paul Parker Perfect Attendance Award.
The club sponsors the Water Valley High School Interact Club, holds the annual Chili Cookoff and hosts a fundraiser at the Watermelon Carnival each year. If you are a service minded individual with a desire to make a difference in the community, contact a Rotary member for information about the club.
