Be Sure To Pick Up A Carnival Program

WATER VALLEY – The 53rd Watermelon Carnival program is on sale now. This year’s edition “Water Valley Then and Now,” and features an interview with Grant Thompson on his work to preserve family histories and the history of Water Valley through photographs and audio tapes.

Information on the various civic organizations in the city, along with pictures of last year’s carnival, this year’s Watermelon Queen and Court, and pictures and articles about the work done by the Chamber of Commerce this past year are also included.

Programs are available at the Chamber office, South Main Boutique, BackTrack Antiques and Gifts, BTC Old Fashion Grocery, Mechanics Bank+Bank First, Turnage Drug Store, The North Mississippi Herald, The Magnolia Coffee Company, Renasant Bank and The Family Hairloom.

The books are $10 and they will also be available during the Carnival at the Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce tent.
