Heavenly sunshine filled my heart Monday morning! What a way to start off your week!
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the Valentine Banquet and Spaghetti Supper at Tillatoba Baptist Church. It will be Saturday, February 10 starting at 5:30 p.m. Couples, families and singles are invited to attend. The menu will be spaghetti, salad, bread, and a dessert. Several of the girls have been working so hard to make this a fun evening for the ones attending.
Will and Rachel Harper McCaulla and family started their week off at Disney World! From all the pictures I’ve seen, they are having a wonderful time.
Love and sympathy is extended to the James Roble Tubberville family of Grenada. Roble passed away Sunday, February 4, in Grenada. Survivors include his son, Rodney Tuberville of Charleston; and his sister, Tobbie Bowen (Chuck) of Panama City Beach, Fla. I went to school in Oakland with Roble and his brother and sister. I loved this family, especially his mother and sister, Tobbie. I was shy around Billy and Roble.
We had a pop visit Saturday afternoon from my daughter, Donna Garripoli, and granddaughters, Miranda and Summer Procella. They had been house hunting up around Horn Lake and Southaven.
Martha Box says last week sprouted wings on Tuesday and flew by! Martha has been dealing with bilateral tinnitus that has her, the nurse, wore out. So far nothing has helped.
Martha enjoyed supper at Carmella’s last Tuesday night, listening to picking and singing and visiting with friends.
Martha visited Candy Box, her daughter, at the Corner Store and so enjoyed those grrrrrrrrrrreat fried chicken livers again Wednesday. She said she just can’t help herself, but Sister Joyce and her are going back on a skinny diet after that spectacular fish meal at the Catfish Hut. All they did was eat all week long. Mmmmmm mm good!
Martha also had a great time with friends Saturday night, enjoying music and talking. She visited Pine Grove Church on Sunday and loved every moment of that spirit-filled message Bro. Scarborough gave strongly encouraging words about our SAVIOUR!
Next was a great meal at Diane Hill’s house. What a cook! And a great visit with Josh , Ginger and Phil. Sounds like you had a great week, Martha! I need some of your energy!
Deborah McCool visited her sister-in-law, Alice Kellum, who is in Grenada Living Center for rehabilitation. Alice will be there for about a month. She is missing her grandkids, who have always been a big part of her life. Keep her in your prayers to heal soon.
Milton Harper is back home from Oxford after his surgery. You can’t keep a good man down. Be sure and tell him I said that Sadie. Praying for a fast healing for you, Milton!

I pray you all have a wonderful day celebrating your special day.
I talked to my friend, Peggy Bailey, and she was bragging on her daughter, Jennifer Ross, coming Sunday and cooking and cleaning house for her.
Love and sympathy to the Susie Doubleday family of Enid. When I was a teenager, Susie and Willie, her husband, and I had a lot of fun together.
I will always have fond memories of this sweet girl and the good times we had together.
Thought for the day….Doing nothing is very hard to do. You never know when you’re finished.
