Christian love and sympathy to the family of Nyree Jackson Jerrell of Grenada. Nyree, a registered nurse, passed away Friday, May 17, at her residence. She was born September 7, 1972 in Charleston to Howard and Sheila Dahl Jackson.
Survivors include two daughters, Ronlyn Jarrell and Mali Jarrell of Grenada; a son, Jackson (Emily) Jarrell of Grenada; her mother, Sheila Jackson of Tillatoba; a sister, Christy (Mickey) Reeves of Oakland; a brother, Henry (Shea) Jackson of Tillatoba; her grandson, E.J. Jarrell of Grenada; and three nephews, Lee Jackson, Adam Reeves and Jonathan Reeves.
Congratulations to all you graduates from kindergarten on up through high school and college. In the blink of an eye, your little ones will be graduating high school.
Our distinguished guest Monday was Larry Franklin from Hardy. We always enjoy Larry’s visits.
Sunday was a day of relaxing and visiting with Donna and Tim. We enjoyed eating hotdogs along with pork and beans. If there was any pork and beans left over, that’s what I’ll eat for supper, pork and beans with crackers. I may even open up a can of sardines.
Kristie Swope and her mother, Faye Hartley, stayed a few days in Pensacola recently and had a wonderful time together.
Joey and Katelyn McClanahan of Jackson visited Bobby Joe McClanahan and other family members recently. Also friends Shelby, JK and Cade; Kirsti Daves, Bobby Joe’s daughter; and grandson, Liam McClanahan of Coffeeville came Sunday morning and cooked breakfast for him. They had a good visit.
“Yes ma’am, time is flying,” said, Martha Box.
Martha said prayers and love kept us all going during Larry Stephens funeral. He will so be missed by his loving family. He led and taught all his grands some great talents!
Brother Ronnie Wortham came home for the service.
Sister Joyce, Jesse, Ronnie and Martha enjoyed a meal at Pap’s, reporting great food and service.
Martha said it was a good homecoming service at Willow Springs Assembly of God Sunday. She added that Bro and Sister Webb did a fantastic and encouraging service.
Phil and Ginger Harrison and boys, Jake and Josh, visited Sunday afternoon.
“Always good visit with our loves,” Martha added.
Yes it is, Martha!
Phillip Williams is visiting family in Grenada and Tillatoba and has been in the hospital recently. He is at home with his sister, Sandra McCulla, as of now.
Phillip, I hope you get to feeling better soon!
Please pray for David’s brother, Willie Deck of Glenallen, Missouri. After he was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, found out Monday morning that he has lung cancer.
Happy birthday to Melinda Box on the 20th; Lisa Chambers and Caleb Franklin celebrate on the 23rd; Mary Hill celebrates on the 25th; Jessie Anna Robinson on the 26th; Bob Bailey on the 27th; and Teresa Jaco Bailey and Makayla Roach on the 28th. I pray you all have a wonderful day celebrating your special day.
