WATER VALLEY – The Water Valley Blue Devil football team will take the field Friday night in a series of one-quarter scrimmage games against Ripley and East Webster. Head football coach Clint Faust reported the night that cheerleaders, varsity and junior varsity football players as well as band members and golf, cross country and volleyball players.
The action starts at 5:45 p.m. as the cheerleaders and Devil dolls will be introduced on Bobby Clark Field. The gridiron action will start at 6 p.m. as Ripley and Easter Webster will face off in the first scrimmage.
At 6:30 p.m. the high school and junior high football players will be introduced. The high school varsity and junior varsity players will play against Ripley in the second scrimmage of the night at 6:45 p.m.
At 7:30 p.m., the band members and athletes from other fall sports will be recognized. The final, one-quarter scrimmage of the night will follow as Water Valley faces East Webster with varsity and junior varsity players seeing action again.
The concession stand will be open and admission is $5.
