Learn About The Art Of Fly Fishing At Saturday’s Seminar

A fly fishing seminar is scheduled Saturday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at the Bob Tyler Fish Hatchery. The seminar will be conducted by Lee Upchurch, a local fishing enthusiast.

Attending anglers will participate in a Q&A with Upchurch during the program and demonstration. A new fly-fishing exhibit is on display and includes crappie jigs, spinnerbaits, bass jigs and various top water flies.

The seminar will be held in the Visitor Education Center at the hatchery and is free with the price of admission. Admission is $2.50 for adults ages 18 – 59, and $20 for youth ages three to 17 and adults over the age of 60. The hatchery is located in Yalobusha County off I-55 at Exit 233 near Enid Lake.
