Louise Turner-Smith

SOUTHAVEN – Louise Turner-Smith, 88, of Southaven, passed away peacefully on Sept. 18, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Desoto, surrounded by family.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home in Southaven, with funeral services immediately following at 12 p.m. The funeral home is located at 8043 Getwell Road.

Born Jan. 7, 1937, in Water Valley, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Turner Sr. and Clotee Kerr-Turner. She accepted Christ at the age of 12. She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Chancie Lee Turner, L.C. Turner, James Turner, and Clinton Turner Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Leroy Morgan (Diann); daughters Shirley Kemp (Lawrence), Diane Smith, Ella Harris, and Beverly Smith; six grandchildren, including a bonus granddaughter, Lakeisha; and three great-grandchildren.
