Churches Jointly Host Vacation Bible School
Bethlehem Baptist Church, in conjunction with Hopewell Baptist, Kingdom Movement, Moorse Chapel AME Zion, Mt. Grove Baptist, Mt. Zion AME Zion, Oak Hill Baptist, Pine Grove East Baptist, Spring Hill South Baptist, and United Baptist Churches will host their Community Vacation Bible School Monday, June 13 – Thursday, June 16, at 6 p.m. nightly.
The VBS will include lessons, music, arts and crafts, dance and drama. An adult class will be provided each evening. The curriculum is The Ultimate Climb-Hiking Up to Meet God!
Refreshments will also be served each evening.
The public is encouraged to attend.
Transportation will be provided by participating churches. The transportation schedule is as follows:
• Camelot Apartments – 5:15 p.m.
• Sunny Acres (Shortcut to the Track) – 5:15 p.m.
• Broad Street (Snake Canyon) – 5:25 p.m.
• The Elementary School Gym – 5:30 p.m.
• The Multi-Purpose Bldg on County Road 169 – 5:30 p.m.
Transportation permission slips will have to be completed and signed for a person to ride the vans, and will be available at any of the church locations listed above.
