Entry Road Off I-55 At Enid Lake Is Closed

As a precautionary measure, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is closing the Enid Lake access bridge on County Road 36  adjacent to the visitor center and fish hatchery off Interstate 55.  The bridge is closed until further notice. 

All Enid Lake boat ramps and camp grounds are open.  Motorists visiting Enid Lake should be prepared to detour around the bridge closure.  Traffic has been rerouted around a four mile detour. Drivers are advised to follow the detour signs, reduce speeds and be cautious while using this temporary detour.
