It’s been a great week here at Mt Liberty. I know everyone enjoyed the Watermelon Carnival last weekend. I didn’t go myself, it was just way too hot for me to enjoy. Usually, I’ll stay home and later regret not attending the carnival. I started my new job this week. So far, I’m enjoying it. I miss working at the former Denman Animal Clinic, but I believe I’ll enjoy this as well.

We took communion at Mt. Liberty Church Sunday morning. Bro. Grant Coffey preached on why we take communion. We do this because we love God. He tells us if we love him, we are to be obedient and follow his commandments. At the last supper Jesus told the disciples to do this in remembrance of him. That was a commandment. Taking communion is time for reflection and you are to have an open heart. It’s a time to let go of sin and unforgiveness. I love this time where I really examine myself and let the Holy Spirit guide me.
