Coffeeville Man Killed In Mower Accident

COFFEEVILLE – A Coffeeville man was killed last Wednesday, April 30, when a lawnmower fell on him. Yalobusha County Coroner Ronnie Stark reported James Logan, 82, was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:40 p.m. by deputy coroner Catie Childs. Logan was working under a John Deere riding lawnmower when it fell on him.

Stark said Logan was discovered by his wife, Carlotta Logan, when she arrived home after working all day.
Visitation for Logan is scheduled Friday, May 9, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Skeeter Robinson Funeral Home in Grenada. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, May 10, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Grenada.
