Class Of 1985 Announces Reunion Plans

The self-proclaimed biggest and best class to graduate from Water Valley High School will celebrate their 40-year reunion during Watermelon Carnival weekend. The action gets underway on Friday, August 1, at 6 p.m. with a hospitality tent set up for the Street Dance. The tent will set up at First Christian Church across from City Park. Water will be available, and attendees are encouraged to bring your own chairs, food and drink.

On Saturday, August 2, classmates are invited to participated in the BankFirst Walk/Run at 7:30 a.m There is no entry fee and this event will be a fun way to start the day. A Class breakfast will follow at the Hendricks Building with coffee, juice and sausage biscuits. The finale will follow that night at the Hendricks Building with dinner and music. DJ Victor Newman will spin the tunes and the meal will include pulled pork, chicken tenders, sides, water, tea and a cash bar. The cost is $75 per person and tickets can be purchased from Lance Clement. Contact Clement at (662) 473-7477 to purchase a ticket.
