WATER VALLEY – A newly renovated laundromat with cutting-edge features and a fresh look was celebrated with a ribbon cutting last week, hosted by the Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Mayor Tommy Reynolds.
Dream Clean Laundry is located at the intersection of Railroad and Calhoun streets and is co-owned by Colby and Haley Bollinger and Clint and Ginger Dishman. The Bollingers were joined at the ceremony by their daughters, Ila and Kennabess.
The owners purchased the laundromat in 2023 and recently completed a major renovation, replacing nearly every machine in the building—except for four washers—and installing updated technology.
One of the biggest upgrades is a new kiosk system that allows customers to sync their smartphones with the washers and dryers. Users can monitor cycle progress remotely, making it easy to manage laundry while on the go. Payment options are flexible: customers can use a credit or debit card, insert cash into the kiosk, or stick with the traditional method of feeding change directly into the machines.
The new lineup also includes industrial-size washers—60- and 80-pound capacity machines—making it possible to tackle large loads quickly. “You can literally wash everything in your house in about an hour,” the owners noted, “from socks to bedsheets.”
Customer service is also a top priority. The building is cleaned daily, and phone numbers for the owners are posted inside the facility, along with a link to their Facebook page. If a machine malfunctions, a refund can be issued within seconds.
Dream Team Laundry is one of 11 locations operated by the team, which began the business in 2019 with their first laundromat in Bruce. They continued to expand despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and now have locations in Bruce, Calhoun City, Vardaman, Coffeeville, Holly Springs, Pontotoc, New Albany, Ackerman, West Point and Houston.
With their growing network of laundromats, the owners are able to employ their own technician and manager to keep operations running smoothly.
