We had a great week at Mt. Liberty! Sunday was Pastor Appreciation Day, and we’re so thankful for Bro. Grant and Leigh Anne Coffey and all they do for our church. It’s a blessing to gather each week and hear a spirit-filled message. I love knowing that I’ll learn something new every Sunday, because that’s how we grow — and Bro. Grant truly brings that to our church family.
A lot goes on behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, and we couldn’t do it without their guidance and the Lord leading them. After the service we enjoyed pizza, cake, and a wonderful time of fellowship.
Next Saturday, we’ll have our Fall Festival from 5 to 8 p.m., and everyone is invited! Bring the kids — and the kids at heart — for a night of fun that will include a chili cook-off, hayride, and cake walk. It’s sure to be a great time for all.
I didn’t get to hear the sermon Sunday morning because I was busy getting everything ready for the dinner, but Sunday night we had music night — and I think we laughed more than anything! I love praise and worship; it does something to the spirit, and you can really feel God’s presence when everyone joins in.
