WATER VALLEY – The search for funding to build a new jail may have found a new toehold after Congressman Travis Childers vowed to work to secure federal funds for the project. Childers met with supervisors during a called meeting held last Thursday at the Water Valley Courthouse.

    The Primary Election will be held May 5 and the General Election on June 2. In order to give voters a better look at the candidates, the Herald asked readers to submit questions on issues they considered important.
