Virginia Harper Bates of Jackson, Mississippi and Jimmy L. Tutor of Brandon, Mississippi were united in marriage on March 11, 2007.  The wedding was held at the First Baptist Church of Brandon, Mississippi with Dr. Scott Thomas officiating.
   The bride is the daughter of Mildred Harper and the late Louie Harper of Jackson, Mississippi .
   The groom is the son of the late Lucille and Hollis Lee Tutor of Water Valley, Mississippi.
   After a honeymoon at the Mississippi Gulf Coast the couple will make their home in Brandon, Mississippi.
