Edwards – Collier To Wed

Mr. Sammy Edwards and Mrs. Norma Pullen, both of Water Valley, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Lovie Edwards to Charles Thomas Collier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Collier of Oxford.

The bride – elect is a granddaughter of the late Russell and Irene “Bootsie” Edwards of Water Valley, Milton Hix also of Water Valley, and Jean Hix of Woodford, VA. The bride – elect is a 2005 graduate of Water Valley High School. She currently attends the University of Mississippi where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

The prospective groom is a grandson of Butch and Sandra Collier of Oxford and Martha and the late Quinon Day of Oxford. Mr. Collier is a 2005 graduate of Lafayette High School. He is a member of the Mississippi National Guard, 289th Vertical Construction Unit. He currently attends Northwest Community College where he is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

The wedding will take place on Saturday, May twenty-sixth at two o’clock in the afternoon at Sylva Rena Baptist Church. All family and friends are invited to attend. No invitations will be sent locally.
