Motorcyclist Killed In Early Morning Accident

A 39 year-old Water Valley man was killed in an motorcycle accident early Friday morning. George Walls was traveling southbound on the Hwy. 7 bypass between West Lee Street and Market Street when his motorcycle left the road, according to the incident report.

Walls apparently was thrown from his motorcycle and landed in the road, where he was struck by a vehicle.

Yalobusha County Coroner Ronnie Stark pronounced Walls dead at the scene. Officers with the Water Valley Police Department, Yalobusha County Sheriff’s Department and Mississippi Highway patrol responded to the accident, along with the Water Valley Fire Department.
