After Summer Break, Lions Club Resumes Monthly Pancake Meal

After a summer break, the Water Valley Lions Club will resume their First Saturday Pancake Breakfast Watermelon Carnival Weekend. 

On August 5, between the hours of 6:30 and 10 a.m., Lions will served all you care to eat of pancakes, sausage, coffee and orange juice for just $5 per plate. The event is held in the Lions Depot Building on Main Street. Also available for sale on this day will be the excellent Lions cheese. 

“Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a delicious breakfast, some great fellowship with friends and visitors to the city, and purchase some cheese to take home, while helping to fund the many charitable events sponsored by the Lions,” stated Terry Champion, publicity chair for the Lions Club.
