Annual Holiday Miniatures Show At Bozarts Included In Weekend Events

The anticipated Holiday Miniatures Show at Bozarts will include a large selection of small works by many artists.

Bozarts Gallery is opening the Annual Holiday Miniatures Show from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1.  As every year, Bozarts Gallery presents a large selection of small works by many artists, several of them new to the gallery such as Lee Harper, Jonathan Kent Adams, Zoe Fitch, Katelyn Dillard, and Will Brocks.  Participating artists also include Michael Maxwell, Pati D’Amico, Elsie Booker, Andi Bedsworth, Mari Foster, Hanne Gaycken, Katrina Geenen, Thomas Grosskopf, Jeff Long, Chip Lightweis-Goff,  William Warren, Ed Croom, and Jack Gurner.

Bozarts invites to a festive celebration of the season with art, gifts, holiday treats, and musical entertainment by Wendy Garrison. This year the gallery partners with the Downtown Cafe to treat the first 20 customers to a latte, hot chocolate, coffee or beverage of their choice from next door.

The new bookstore on Main Street, Violet Valley Books, is open late for browsing and purchasing books for readers of all ages.  Just in time for the holidays, the store offers a large selection of books in different categories from children’s books to adult literature, from cook books to feminist focused fiction. The owners, who build on the message of our “Hospitality State,” encourage everyone to stop by.

“Amelia,” a new gift store and art gallery located at 112 Main Street will be hosting an art opening and welcomes all to explore the new exhibition space, “The Living Room Gallery.”

A brick and mortar store as well as an online store, Amelia is proud to involve the arts, crafts and design community in different ventures.
