Banner Lodge Will Serve Catfish
The annual fish fry will be held Saturday, September 1, in Banner Lodge #329, from 5 until 7:30 p.m. Catfish, with all the trimmings, a drink and dessert will be served for only $10 a plate. VFW Weekend Activities Include Friday Bingo, Saturday Dance
Bingo will be played at VFW Post 4100 on Friday night, August 31. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and games begin at 7. The Bobby Hood Band will provide music for the regular Saturday night dance on September 1, beginning at 8 p.m. The dance will conclude at midnight. Post 4100 is located at 11535 Highway 315, west of Water Valley.

Pine Valley Reunion Is Sept. 15
The annual Pine Valley School reunion will be held, as usual, on the third Saturday in September, so mark your calendar for this event. Everyone is welcome. Please come out and enjoy the fellowship and visiting and bring a favorite dish to share and enjoy lunch.
Descendants Of Edward Taylor Schedule Reunion For Sept. 2

Order Of Eastern Star Meets Sept. 11
Water Valley Chapter No. 5, Order of the Eastern Star, will have their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, September 11, beginning with a Pot Luck Supper a 6:30 p.m. The meeting will follow at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Masonic Temple on Champion Circle.
