Bradley Warren Myers

ST. Louis, MO. – Bradley Warren Myers went to his heavenly home on April 26, 2025, in St Louis, Mo. He was born September 10, 1953, in Memphis.

Bradley is survived by his beloved wife, Amber Myers; his sister, Katie Myers; and his step-daughter, Claire Raichle. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Memphis State and enjoyed a fulfilling career before his retirement. An avid sports enthusiast, he cherished his time on the golf course and was a devoted follower of various sporting events. His involvement in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) reflected his commitment to personal growth and helping others. Additionally, he spent a significant part of his career with Amrep, where he built lasting relationships and left a positive impact on his colleagues.

Bradley will be remembered for his kind and fun spirit and sense of humor. His legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the stories shared by those who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, May 14. Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bradley is preceded in death by his father, Wesley Myers, and his mother, Catherine Edwards Myers of Memphis and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Myers, and Mr. and Mrs. O.G. Edwards, all of Water Valley.

Annette Womble Still

WATER VALLEY – Annette Womble Still of Water Valley peacefully passed away at Yalobusha General Nursing Home on the evening of April 23, 2025.

Born January 8, 1950, in Water Valley, she was the daughter of the late Henry Womble and Elnor Johnson Womble. Later in life, she married Edward “Bud” Still, with whom she enjoyed spontaneous road trips, even if they were just a few hours away. A devoted servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, Annette expressed her faith through song and praise in numerous ways.

She and Jan performed in an a cappella choir at Ole Miss and continued their vocal ministry for as long as they could.
Additionally, she was an active member of the choir at Bethel Baptist Church in Water Valley, where she worshiped for many years. Deeply caring for her church family, she was known for her generosity, often giving without seeking recognition or reward. Annette treated everyone with equal love and compassion, disregarding social status.

For 25 years, Annette, alongside Jan, dedicated her life to educating students at Northwest Community College. She was an avid sports enthusiast and greatly admired the Manning family and their athletic accomplishments. Annette also had a special affection for animals, particularly her dogs and her beloved pet cat, Wally, whom she rescued from Walmart.
Annette is survived two sisters, Jan Womble and Patricia Oliphant; two nephews Jay and Scott Oliphant; and a host of family, church family, and friends.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Bud” Still; and her sister, Fran Womble.
The funeral service was held Saturday, April 26, at Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Anthony Williams officiating. Burial will followed at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Barry Clark Tatum

WATER VALLEY – Barry Clark Tatum, passed away on April 20, 2025, in Water Valley at the age of 69. Born August 3, 1955, Barry grew up in Ohio, where he graduated from Vermilion High School. He dedicated much of his life to the oil production industry, working tirelessly on oil rigs in the Gulf earning the respect of his colleagues.

A man of adventure and spontaneity, Barry was known for his love of motorcycles and the freedom he felt while riding the open roads. He often embarked on motorcycle trips that embodied his adventurous spirit and love for life. Barry was not just an enthusiast of the wild; he also had an artistic side, finding joy in drawing and expressing himself through art.
Barry was a loner who cherished his independence and lived life on his own terms. Despite his solitary nature, he was a generous man, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a proud member of the Eggville Freewill Baptist Church, where he found community and connection.

A graveside service was held Thursday, April 24, in Browning Cemetery with Bro. Shane Crawford officiating.
Barry is survived by his son, Dustin Tatum (Shayla) of Oxford; three cherished grandchildren; two sisters, Debbie (John) Chaney of Wakeman, Ohio and Anita Tatum of Rocky River, Ohio; and many loving friends.
Barry is preceded in death by his parents, Merrill and Faye Tatum.

Patsy Ann Walton

TUPELO – Patsy Ann Walton went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 23,2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center, in Tupelo. She was born September 2, 1958 to Willie B. Walton and Lucy Faye Brown Walton in Water Valley.
Patsy attended Water Valley High School and Jackson State University. She later obtained her Master’s Degree in Psychology. While living in Water Valley she was employed with Borg Warner and upon moving to Tupelo, she worked in healthcare, as a customer service representative.

Patsy accepted Christ at an early age at Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church. After moving to Tupelo, she joined Lane Chapel C.M.E. Church. She loved cooking for her family, especially German Chocolate cake, sweet potato pies, and pecan pies. She also enjoyed reading and watching British shows on television

Those she leaves to miss her dearly and cherish her memories are her loving son, Shelby Walton, who devoted his life to taking care of her; three sisters, Peggy Walton of Jackson, Sheila Hawkins of Water Valley and Melissa (Henry) James of Arlington, Tenn.; one brother, Tony (Elnora) Walton; three uncles, Joe (Laura) Brown, John (Barbara) Brown, of Memphis and Bobby (Abigail) Brown of Water Valley; one aunt, Shirley Hentz of Coffeeville; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and a dear family friend, Rubye (Joe) Carr of Water Valley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother-in-law, Curtis Lane Hawkins; an aunt, Annie Faye (Sherman) House; and an uncle James (Catherine) Brown.
