Sixty Four Grads Will Earn Diplomas

WATER VALLEY – Sixty-four Water Valley High School seniors are candidates for diplomas in Friday night’s graduation ceremony. The commencement will begin at 7 p.m. on Bobby Clark Field.

Class Historian Joshua Wrenn will share the class history during the commencement. Jackson Herrera will deliver the salutatory address, followed by recognition of the honor students by STAR teacher Anna Koshenina.

Honor students are Elise Burns, Laine Burns, Reid Burress, Dezmod Campbell, Jade Crenshaw, Liam Ennis, Emma Forehand, Jackson Herrera, Calicia Hutchins, John McMinn, Hayden Schurr, Bree Spearman, Jacob Stacy, Addison Taylor, Mallory Tidwell, Jenna Trusty, Elise Turner, Trynaidee Walton, and Heath Wrenn. Students must have a cumulative average of 90 or higher for honor student distinction.

Jenna Trusty will deliver the valedictory address. Water Valley School District Superintendent Drew Pitcock and Water Valley High School Principal Dr. Vickie Person will present the diplomas.
