Dalton Burney will take the stage at Music Fest on Thursday, July 31, at The Civic. Now a talented young performer with a growing fanbase, Burney first appeared at Music Fest when he was just three years old, standing beside his father. That early experience left a lasting impression on the crowd—and on Dalton himself.
“The first time I came up on stage with my dad, it became one of my core memories,” he shared. “It was the biggest thing that had happened in my life up to that point—and it still means a lot to me.”
Raised in a home where music and community service went hand in hand, Dalton credits his parents—Daryl and Missy Burney—for setting an example of generosity and dedication. “That’s where I learned that you give back to people,” he said.
Music Fest, hosted by the Town and Country Garden Club, begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $7.00, and tickets are available for any club member, at the Chamber of Commerce office and at the door that evening.
A full interview with Dalton Burney will appear in the North Mississippi Herald’s special Carnival edition.
