Caroline Zorn, a junior at Germantown High School, helped her team win a national championship at the UCA Cheer Nationals on Feb. 1 at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
TILLATOBA — A Germantown High School cheerleader with family ties to Tillatoba helped make school history with the program’s first national championship.
Caroline Zorn, a junior at Germantown High School, was a member of Germantown’s Gameday Cheer Team, which won a national championship on Feb. 1, 2026, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Center at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
The championship marks the first national title in any sport for Germantown High School since the school opened in 2011.
In addition to the Gameday division championship, Germantown also competed in the traditional cheer category, finishing ninth out of 27 teams.
Zorn has been a member of the Germantown cheer program every year since seventh grade and is now in her junior year.
Her grandparents, Bob and Jane Crowl, own a farm in the Tillatoba community and have followed her cheer career closely.
