Resident Warns After Cat Is Shot, Injured

Dear Editor,

Last week, one of our neighbor’s cats was shot and maimed. The poor kitty had to have its leg amputated due to the injury. What kind of horrid person would do such a cruel, sick act?

We live off Main Street near Wagner. Please be aware and protect your cats if they are indoor/outdoor pets.

We will be watching for you, CRUEL PERSON, and hope you are punished harshly for your sick behavior. It is against the law.

To deliberately hurt someone’s beloved pet is heartbreaking, not to mention the financial and psychological harm it causes to the owner. We love our pets like family.

Please protect your animals from vile, sick individuals like this. Remember, your actions will come back to hurt you in some form. That is a fact of life, not a lie.
