Our Annual Night Golf Tournament was another tremendous success this year, with 19 teams participating in a fun-filled evening of competition and community spirit.
Taking home top honors was Team Clevenger, which earned the title of Overall Tournament Champion after an impressive performance on the course.
One of the evening’s highlights was the Longest Putt Contest, proudly sponsored by BankFirst. The event also received generous support from sponsors, including BankFirst, Addicus, Delta Dog of Oxford and State Farm, whose contributions helped make the tournament possible.
The Junior Auxiliary would like to extend a special thank-you to Water Valley Country Club for once again allowing us to host this outstanding event and for its continued support of our mission.
All proceeds from the tournament will go toward the many programs, services and opportunities we provide for the children in our community. The ongoing support from participants, sponsors, volunteers and community members helps us continue making a positive impact on the lives of our local youth in Water Valley and Coffeeville.
We are grateful for everyone who helped make this year’s tournament a success and look forward to another great event next year.
Coming Soon: Watermelon Games will be held Aug. 1, 2026, at First Christian Church (across from Dollar General), beginning at 11 a.m. The games will include seed spitting, a watermelon toss and watermelon eating. Games are available for all ages.
Membership Mixer: We are actively accepting new members to join Junior Auxiliary of Water Valley. If you or anyone you know is interested, please contact any active JA member to learn how to sign up or follow our Facebook page for more information. The meeting will be held Aug. 13, 2026, and the location will be emailed to you once the signup is complete.
Stay Tuned: The 46th Watermelon Pageant will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, at 4 p.m. The event will be held at The Civic. Sign-ups will begin in August!
