Business Casual will bring rock and pop-punk favorites to the City Park gazebo stage Saturday during the Watermelon Carnival.
Live music will fill City Park throughout the day Saturday, Aug. 1, during the 56th annual Watermelon Carnival. Saturday’s entertainment is sponsored by the Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.
Tom Foolery will open the gazebo lineup from 9 to 11 a.m. with a mix of familiar favorites.
Water Valley singer-songwriter Jacob King will perform from 11 a.m. until noon. Following a short break, Pharm Truck will take the stage from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. with its Southern blues-rock sound.
Tanner Mills will perform a mix of country and classic rock from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by Business Casual from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. with popular rock and pop-punk selections from the 1990s and 2000s.
Cadillac Funk will close the day’s entertainment from 3:30 to 5 p.m. with a blend of Mississippi blues, funk and original music.
Carnival visitors are encouraged to find a shady spot and enjoy the music while visiting the food vendors, craft booths and activity areas throughout City Park.
