WATER VALLEY – The Water Valley Main Street Association will hold a lunch-and-learn at noon on Monday, August 24, in the BankFirst Community Room. Justin McDaniel, owner of Courthouse Café, will present “Social Media Strategies” and demonstrate how business owners can use online tools to make flyers, videos, and other marketing materials.
“Last month’s inaugural program in this new series was a great success, and we want to thank BankFirst for making their community room available again,” said WVMSA director Chris Goodwin. “Our intent is to offer presentations targeted primarily at downtown business owners, but we hope anyone interested in the topic will attend. Justin does a fantastic job of using social media to keep the public engaged with his businesses, and I expect everyone can learn something from him.”
The event is free, with lunch provided courtesy of Courthouse Café.
The mission of the Water Valley Main Street Association is to promote Water Valley’s Main Street District as the focus of a community where history is preserved, businesses thrive, and citizens and visitors dine, shop, live, and enjoy the arts and entertainment.
