Windsor Ground Breaking Is Jan. 13

OAKLAND – A ground breaking is scheduled on January 13 at 10 a.m. for a long-anticipated expansion at Ajinomoto Windsor in Oakland.

“The details of the new expansion will be made jointly by the Mississippi Development Authority and Ajinomoto Windsor,” Yalobusha County Economic and Tourism District director Bob Tyler reported Monday during a recessed supervisor meeting held in Water Valley.

Tyler said officials at Windsor Ajinomoto are extending an invitation to the public to attend the ceremony, which marks the latest expansion since the company located in Oakland in 2008.

“This will be quite an impressive ground breaking,” Tyler said about the event.
