The month of February is almost over and the March winds will begin.
I hope all of you ladies received lots of chocolates and you men received a nice bouquet of flowers.
Love and sympathy to the Janie Deck Macke family of Glenn Allen, Mo. Janie was a first cousin to my husband, David.
Love and sympathy to the Kenny Carvan family of Enid, Mississippi. Kenny passed away February 13. He had an awesome sense of humor and, back when he was younger, he was full of fun. I haven’t seen Kenny in many years, but I’ll always remember his sweet smile and personality.
Love and sympathy to the Susan Caruthers McCammon family. Susan passed away Saturday, February 15, 2026.
My son, Logan Deck, of Gluckstadt, came Wednesday while on his way to Marks for a business meeting. He brought our lunch and we had a short but nice visit.
We had a great weekend, says Debbie McCool. We left for Alabama Saturday morning. Angela Dukes was giving her daughter, Allison, a baby shower at her house in Theodore, Alabama. We spent most of the day there after arriving around noon.
Deborah said they had a wonderful time. Pat and Angela had rented a beach house on Dauphin Island, and we stayed the night with them before heading home Sunday morning.
Diane and Kathy Dukes, Jake and Roseanne Rose and their boys, John Luke and Logan, were there too. Diane had a beautiful beach house right on the beach. Tommy and I had a great time, and Allison really got lots of things for our first great-grandbaby.
Doris Hoop had her 13th surgery on her hip last week. Doris, I pray this will be your lucky 13th surgery and that you will heal safely and fast. Tell Barry I said to wait on you hand and foot.
