Literary Club Dedicates Flag Pole

  A dedication ceremony for the new flag pole at Blackmur Memorial Library was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 30. The flag pole was donated by the Water Valley Literary Club. Here Mayor Bill Norris and WV Electric Department Manager Joe Newman host the flag. Jan Ward (right), spokesperson for the Literary Club explained the city’s help with the project. The Electric Department made and erected the pole.
